Twelve members and two visitors enjoyed a fascinating and informative talk by Mr Derek Gale on Contemporary Social Photography at the W.I’s December meeting. Mr Gale also showed some excellent examples of wedding and portrait photographs that he had taken in a power point presentation.
Mrs Christine Thompson won the competition for a funny photo Mrs Pat Thompson was second.
Bloom of the Month was won by Mrs Tina Evans, second was Mrs Barbara Furber.
The next meeting on 14th January 2010 will be a “Card” workshop, and will be run by Mrs Maureen Jepson.
