Ramsbury Surgery News Item – July 2008
We would like to apologise for the abrupt end to our old website which was managed by an external company. We now have a new website which we are in full control of. We have added downloadable forms such as registration forms and travel advice to save you having to come to the surgery to collect them.
If you have not used the website for booking appointments or ordering repeat medication you will need to ask Reception for your login details. Once you have these, you can create an account on EMIS Access which will allow you to book GP appointments, order your repeat medication and update your personal details.

Dr Muller will be
taking his sabbatical this summer from Friday the 18th of July to August 26th.
Dr Angus Tallini has agreed to cover Dr Muller's sabbatical. In October Dr
Tallini will be joining a Partnership in Newbury. Dr Ben Basterfield will be
joining the Practice from
Dr Wardley is expecting her third baby this October so will be leaving us on maternity leave in early October. We are currently advertising for a maternity Locum.
We have a new Dispenser, Karen Smith, who joined us in April. Claire Hoddinott will be leaving the Dispensary in July to go on maternity leave. Jane Marren, one of our Practice Nurses left us in June. We have a new Receptionist, Marilyn Roberts, who joined us at the end of March.
STOP SMOKING!
Here at the Practice we have two fully trained Stop Smoking Advisors and we can offer you all kinds of support including nicotine replacement therapy. We have had a couple of fantastic successes within the practice for patients. It's far easier to stop smoking with support than trying to stop on your own. We are here to help - so please use us.
