Baydon St Nicholas Church

The Rev. Joan Prout led the three services at St Nicholas church over the Christmas period.

The Junior Church Choir began the Candlelit Service as they entered carrying candles and singing Once in Royal David’s City.

The Church was packed to capacity.

Mrs Dorothy Newman and Mrs Helen Chambers accompanied the carol singing, which was also enhanced by young musicians Matthew Chambers, Sam Austen, Rosie and Bridget Walker and Wendy Appello playing on clarinets and flutes.

The Midnight service and the Christmas morning service were also well attended.
