Starting at 9am on the Saturday morning and working until late afternoon nearly
30 cars were cleaned, and initial figures show this will have raised over £600
towards Baydon St. Nicholas C. of E. Primary School’s new building project,
which is a marvellous result.
With the help of many people, governors, staff, parents, pupils
and villagers plus the support and input of the event’s sponsor Gary
Winter of Clean2Gleam in Hungerford, the car wash was a great success.
Thanks go to all those people who did everything from making teas and coffees
to washing, drying, hovering, waxing and general cleaning. Also a big thank you
goes to all those who brought their cars along on the day to be cleaned and
donated their money.
Rev. Joan Prout and a
few of the school pupils take a bit of time out of the busy day to give
themselves a clean too !
