Baydon Cricket Club
2008 Season
Last
season saw a number of games lost to bad weather, nevertheless we managed to
win 6 games, lost 8 and drew 1. It was very encouraging to see the emerging
talent of some of the young cricketers in the village which gives us hope for
the future. Leading batsman was Dominic Ellis closely followed by Josh Quinn
and Ben West. Lee Hogan was the top bowler with Max Andrews and Ben Nelson
close behind.
2009 Season
This
season sees a number of changes to the club. Max Andrews takes over the
captaincy to become the youngest in the club’s
history.
Steve Sutton, after many years of hard work keeping the club going, steps down
as Chairman and Lee Hogan takes over. I would like to thank Steve for all his
efforts in recent years and the club owes him a huge amount of gratitude.
