Baydon Church – Finances Update

I write as treasurer of the Parochial Church Council for St Nicholas Church Baydon to update you on our Village Church’s finances.

Due to the generosity of so many of you, the immediate worry of closure has gone.  We now have 50 regular donations from £2 to £70 a month, amounting to £6,919 a year with a tax refund of £2,952 to come.

Unfortunately, although the response has been wonderful, we still have a forecast annual shortfall of £3,700 and the cushion of reserves we have will only last 2-3 years.

As far as I can gauge from conversations I have had around the village, there are still many people who intend to lend their support but have not got around to it.  If you are one of them, and would like to set up a standing order please contact me, or talk to your bank supplying them with the details below:-
